Juventus, midfielder chosen to replace Pogba

Numbered 1998, the Dutch national will play in Bergamo from 2021

Juventus wants, in January, a strong midfielder, so as to give Allegri a new asset and, above all, fill the gap left by Pogba (who is awaiting long court battles to safeguard his position and his future as a player). Giuntoli seems to have decided on whom to bet, namely Koopmeiners, star of Atalanta.

Dutch national, Koopmeiners è in his third season with La Dea. After a not easy first year, he has changed gear and now è one of the pillars of Gasperini’s team. He can do everything (10 goals last year) and, above all, he still has several margins for improvement, being a class of 1998. Giuntoli, Juventus’ market man, had already tried to bring him to Turin in the summer.

In order to get to Koopmeiners, Juventus seems determined to make a major sacrifice. So many clubs, especially English ones, are on the trail of the talented young Soulé. The Argentine, now on loan at Frosinone, could allow the Old Lady to scrape together the money needed to go on the assault of Koopmeiners, valued by Atalanta at no less than 45 million euros. Small problem: Gasperini does not want to give him up.
