Nico Rosberg makes an admission about Max Verstappen and Red Bull
The 2023 F1 season è ended with Max Verstappen winning his third world title, dominating the championship by winning an impressive 19 of the 22 scheduled races. Legitimizing Red Bull’s dominance was teammate Sergio Perez, who brought the Milton Keynes-based stable’s total successes this season to 21. Regarding the superiotà demonstrated by the Austrian team, the former Mercedes driver wanted to make a clear admission.
"You have to admit clearly that it was not a matter of domination of a team, but of a driver. If you look at the results obtained by Sergio Perez you realize how extraordinary Verstappen’s performance was, the best of all time numbers in hand. He's been phenomenal and I think it was him who made the difference and not the car" began the 2016 world champion as quoted by "OA Sport".
"Looking ahead to next season, I hope that other teams and drivers will be able to give Max a run for his money. I expect Hamilton and Russell to be among them, as well as Norris and Leclerc. They all have the potential to become World Champions, but a lot will depend on the performance of their cars" added Nico Rosberg.
