Despite the satisfaction of direct qualification to the Conference League round of 16, Fiorentina è returned from Hungary with one more thought, related to Nico Gonzalez's injury. The Argentine striker will in fact be out for 5-6 weeks because of the injury to the flexor in his right thigh, and that is why the management, in view of the important commitments in the league and Italian Super Cup, is ready to take corrective action, intervening in the market.

Two names are at the top of the list of sporting director Daniele Pradè, according to reports from the 'Corriere dello Sport': they are 25-year-old Armand Laurienté, currently at Sassuolo, and contemporary Marco Grüll, a striker in force at Rapid Vienna (seen in the qualifying playoff for the group stage precisely against the violets). They are both players accustomed to playing on the wing, adaptable also in the role of second forward.

Laurienté è in Italy since September 2022, when Sassuolo picked him up; from Lorient: in neroverde he played a 28-game, 7-goal, 6-assist first season in Serie A, while in the first 15 games in the Italian top flight he è been proportionally less productive (one goal), despite confirming himself as a starter for the team coached by Alessio Dionisi.

Grüll, an Austrian national player, has è not yet instead never left his country but is growing season after season: ricome Laurienté è capable of playing both on the right and on the left and è fairly active in the goal area, having scored in the first 15 games of the Austrian Bundesliga 2023/24 5 goals, contributing with his assists to the realization of 4 other goals.
