Juventus, there is a plan to get to Kalvin Phillips
Giuntoli is probing the market in search of a midfield reinforcement
It has not è been a secret for quite some time. Juventus, penalized by the cases related to Pogba and Fagioli, è looking for a quality midfielder, so as to allow Allegri to have more choices in the middle of the field. Giuntoli would be probing the market to see where to go knocking to get the desired midfielder on the best possible terms.
The hottest name remains that of Phillips, a midfielder with Manchester City. Guardiola "does not see him" and the 28-year-old Englishman's farewell in January è certain, as confirmed by the Citizens coach himself: "Everyone knows his situation, it depends a little bit on what happens. We will definitely talk to him and talk about how the January market goes".
Juventus would have a definite plan, which is to try to convince Manchester City to sell Phillips on a dry loan until the end of the current season. It is difficult for the Juventus club to put a cheap offer on the table. Clearly, Phillips would not be the only name on Giuntoli's list but, probably, the most interesting.
