The extenuating circumstance of so many injuries holds "as an excuse", for now

Pioli è has been reappointed to lead Milan. Despite the media storm he was involved in after the draw in Salerno, the club, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, has decided to trust him again. The many injuries he has had so far (as many as 30) are affecting the team’s performance and preventing the coach from doing his job to the best of his ability. So, still trust Pioli.

Clearly, in parallel, the management is considering other options, in case the situation precipitates. The hot name would be Conte, a coach who knows how to get into the players’ heads like no other. However, Conte demands a lot in terms of recruitment. At the moment, a possible negotiation in June, at the end of the current season, seems moreù likely.

Watch out, however, for Abate. The former Rossoneri is doing very well with the Primavera, especially in Europe. In case of Pioli’s exoneration, he could be the one to end the season, waiting to figure out who to hand Milan over to in the summer. Of course, everything would change if Pioli manages to turn things around and return to grinding out victories and important performances.
