Naples, Victor Osimhen has already said goodbye to teammates

Osimhen has already said goodbye to all his teammates. Now he has only his Nigeria on his mind and doing well in the Africa Cup of Nations, a tournament scheduled from Jan. 13 to Feb. 11. Quite a problem for Mazzarri who, accomplice to the departure of his best player, among others freshly renewed, will have to reinvent the Parthenopean attack during his absence.

It è not the first time this has happened but, clearly, this è just the worst time to do without Osimhen. The Nigerian has regained good physical condition and was "gassed" to the right degree. Unfortunately for Napoli, impossible to think of Osimhen giving up his national team. So, room for others, Simeone in primis.

If Nigeria does well, Osimhen would return in midà February, missing so many of his Napoli matches. No Monza (but he was disqualified), then he will be absent with Torino and the home derby with Salernitana. No Italian Super Cup and, after that, much will depend on the path of Nigeria, one of the favorites to final success, in the tournament. Should Osimhen go to the final, he would also miss Milan-Napoli on Feb. 11.
