Napoli, for Alex Meret the agent does not rule out any scenario
No scenario, at the moment, è to be ruled out.
Alex Meret and Napoli are bound by a contract that will expire next June, although there is an option to renew it for an additional year. That option, however, has not yet been exercised at the moment, and the player's agent, Federico Pastorello, wanted to frame the situation as clearly as possible. Explaining, however, that at the moment any eventuality could prove to be the right one: either that of a renewal for the goalkeeper, or that of his departure.
"Currently the dialogue with Napoli è open, and relations relaxed – Pastorello told the microphones of 'Sky Sport' -. At the time of the renewal last summer there's been a bit of tension, but now Meret has a contract with an option in the hands of Napoli to renew until 2025. We will meet toward the end of the season to decide what approach to take, but I imagine that either the renewal will come or Alex will leave.
Pastorello, however, wanted to clarify Meret's approach to the situation: "I can say that he è happy to be in Naples, even if the season è complicated and sometimes he has also received criticism. He però has a good armor and wants to stay in Naples to continue winning. I think we can move toward renewal, but I still do not want to exclude anything".
