Ivan Juric has clear ideas about the market

Torino is preparing for the last match of the 2023 calendar year scheduled, at the Artemio Franchi stadium against Fiorentina on Friday at 6:30 p.m., but coach Ivan Juric è is already projected to the possible movements, both incoming and outgoing, related to the January repair market. In a press conference, in this regard, the Croatian coach clarified his position.

"Someone wants to leave,” he said, without mincing words, while not naming names. There will probably be new faces coming in if there are any divestments. As for targets in particular I have not asked for anything, maybe a target to strengthen the squad would be a left-back, but we will have to evaluate with the companyà".

Torino arrives to the challenge against Fiorentina with a rather positive roster in the previous four matches: eight are the points won by Ivan Juric’s team, which, after the knockout against Bologna last Nov. 27, won against Atalanta (3-0 at home on Dec. 4) and Empoli (1-0, also at home, on Dec. 16), drawing with Frosinone (0-0 away on the 10th) and Udinese (1-1 at the Olimpico Grande Torino on the 23rd).

The granata's goal for this year is to improve on last seasons result and play for a place in Europe. Toro's last appearance in a continental tournament was in the 2019-20 Europa League, when forò the granata failed to reach the group stage after losing in the play-offs against Wolverhampton.
