Dumped by Roma, Leonardo Bonucci looks for an alternative
The 1987 class wants to play with continuity to win a place at the Europeans
Bonucci è’s future is now a mystery. Negotiations with Roma è foundered. He seemed destined to play in the Giallorossi, in Mourinho’s employ, but the deal è blown up on the spot (it seems also due to pressure from a large part of the Giallorossi fans, decidedly against the arrival in the capital of the former Bianconero). At this point, Bonucci would be considering alternatives.
He could return to Germany and continue his adventure, for now nefarious, at Union Berlin. A solution that does not seem to please the 1987 class defender, who is eager to return to Italy or, at least, play continuously in order to try to convince CT Spalletti to convene him for the upcoming European Championships. In fact, the navigated central defender's last major goal.
Lots of rumors around Bonucci’s future but nothing certain. MLS could be an option, as well as Chiellini did in the past. Never rule out the Saudi Pro League but there'è also those who would see him doing well at Fiorentina, a club looking for an experienced central defender. For sure, these will be complicated days for Bonucci, who is called upon to make an important decision.
