Jannik Sinner in an interview with La Stampa reviewed his stellar 2023, which propelled him among the tennis greats. The Italian tennis player also received from the ATP the award of "fan favorite", won in recent years only by Federer and Nadal: "An immense honor to be able to receive this recognition after Roger and Rafa. I felt the’affection of the public in Turin and Malaga. To be able to transmit my values, such as fairplay, hard work and respect è very important".
In Italy, thanks also to Sinner, tennis è became popular again: "Every now and then I am surprised by all this fame and I have to laugh. I am happy to see how much Italians appreciate our sport at this historical moment".
The goals for 2024 are many: "Besides trying to win a Slam I don’t forget the Masters 1000 that also count so much. I want to stabilize my ranking and absolutely come back to Turin for the Atp Finals. The Olympics? The Games are in my calendar, it will be" very special to return to Roland Garros for the Olympic tournament".
Sinner è is now a star, and many are betting on an appearance during the Sanremo Festival: "I would love to drop in on Sanremo. I like a lot of different music, from rap to rock and even pop. In Italy we are lucky, we have so many amazing artists and our music è beautiful".
