The French goalkeeper appreciated Milan’s closeness after the events in Udine

Maignan è’s future is still to be written but the Diavolo è is now closer to convincing him to renew his contract (expiring in June 2026). The Frenchman is comfortable in Milan and has appreciated the great closeness of the club; after the events in Udine. With the Rossoneri jersey on, he feels comfortable and the feeling è that he wants to continue wearing it for a long time.

Compared to some time ago, the demands of the French national team goalkeeper's entourage have lowered. Understanding that getting 10/12 million a season was impossible, here it seems that a middle ground has been reached. Maignan collects, today, about three million euros a year. The goal would be to convince the Diavolo to put at least double that amount on the plate to concretize the negotiation and get to the classic white smoke.

In short, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, Maignan feels like a top player at the Diavolo and would like to be treated as such, thus on par with Leao. The Portuguese è the player on the Rossoneri roster who earns the most (about seven million euros, including bonuses). A figure that would also make Maignan happy and would surely convince him to sign a contract renewal.
