The NBA night just passed in the United States è was long and full of interesting games. The Los Angeles Clippers (33-15) outscored the Miami Heat (26-24) 95-103, thanks to strong performances by Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, who scored 25 points and 11 rebounds and 21 points and 11 assists, respectively. Jimmy Butler put up 21 points for the Heat. The Indiana Pacers (28-23) capitalized on a strong first quarter, closed on a 13-26 run, to beat the Charlotte Hornets (10-38) by a score of 99-115. Pascal Siakam scored 25 points for the Pacers, while Brandon Miller scored 35 points for the Hornets despite losing.

The Boston Celtics (38-12), with Marcus Smart returning from the stands, dominated the Memphis Grizzlies (18-32) with an outstanding performance by Jayson Tatum, who scored 34 points, and Kristaps Porzingis, who added 26 points. Among the Grizzlies, Scotty Pippen Jr. the son of the Bulls legend, scored 19 points off the bench. The Oklahoma City Thunder (35-15) needed two overtimes to defeat the Toronto Raptors (17-32) by a score of 135-127, thanks to five players who scored 20 points or more: Josh Giddey (24), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (23 points, 14 assists, 9 rebounds), Chet Holmgren (22), Luguentz Dort (22) and Aaron Wiggins (20). RJ Barrett scored 23 points for the Raptors.

The Minnesota Timberwolves (35-15) easily beat the Houston Rockets (23-25) by a final score of 111-90, thanks to an outstanding performance by Anthony Edwards, who scored 32 points. On the other side, Alperen Sengun achieved a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Utah Jazz (25-26) got a big win against the Milwaukee Bucks (33-17) 123-108, thanks to Lauri Markkanen with 21 points, Collin Sexton with 19 points and Keyonte George with 19 points, as well as Simone Fontecchio who contributed 11 points in 24 minutes. Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 33 points and 13 assists and Bobby Portis’ 27, the Bucks were defeated. Finally, the Denver Nuggets (35-16) overcame a rough start and defeated the Portland Trail Blazers (15-35) 112-103, thanks to a great performance by Nikola Jokic with 29 points, fending off DeAndre Ayton’s 27 and Anfernee Simons’ 26.
