Air tragedy in Chile, died Piñera
Sebastián Piñera èdied in a helicopter crash over Lake Ranco in the Los Ríos region of Chile. The’former president of Chile was 74 years old and had led his country for two non-consecutive terms, from 2010 to 2014 and from 2018 to 2022.
Four people were traveling aboard the aircraft, three were brought to safety by rescue teams; Piñera would thus be the only victim. The Navy reached the place where è the helicopter fell, which reportedly sank about 40 meters.
According to initial information from South America, Piñwas on a return trip after visiting a businessman.
