The words of Alessandro Bastoni

Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni è spoke at the microphones of Andrea Ranocchia’s podcast 'Frog Talks' in which he also revealed a backstory with Antonio Conte: "After my first season in Parma, I was lucky enough to find Conte in Milan. I waged wars to leave, they had just taken Godin, there was Skriniar and De Vrij. I had done 25 games in Parma, a good championship, but he insisted".

"Every now and then with Barella we talk about it, we had a hell of a struggle with Conte, but we were so good that it passed – added the Nerazzurri arm -. Inzaghi has found a perfect group of guys, we are all mentalized to do well, there're not those who don't play and then train badly. It was good for us youngsters to do those years behind you (Ranocchia, ed), Brozovic, Handanovic".

"I am fine here, I am 24 years old but I am one of the most 'senior'. È fifth year here, I came to 19. It feels good, è beautiful the Inter world, San Siro, playing in front of 75 thousand people. At the moment I don’t see myself far from here. I really feel at home. I also see at the stadium that people 85-90 years old are waiting for the bus. The passion that people put into it makes you say, 'But who makes me go away?'. We are a good group. Lots of young guys as backbone, Italians. Lautaro è from Argentina, but è here for many years".

"He gave us so much that game, but we were coming from a good run. We looked each other in the face after losing twelve times in the league, we watched the videos and there were people passing us like trains. We compacted, defending all together. With City we saw that we can stay at that level and this year we started as we finished the year before. This year we will try again, absolutely. È nice to get there and I really think it would be nice to win" concluded Bastoni on the Champions League final.
