I have a good life in soccer, but also outside. I decided about six months ago that I will not run for office in 2027, I have been away from my family for about six years and will be away for another three. I communicated this decision first to my family and then to friends and colleagues".
"I am tired of the Covid, of this meaningless Super League project and of those who proclaim themselves as moral authorities," added the UEFA number one. In any case, I can say I am happy and proud to be the captain of a ship that has weathered the storm well and will continue to do so in the next three years, to be at the head of a football community that has never been so united.
