Bologna-Lecce 4-0

Bologna beat Lecce 4-0 in the match of the 24th day of Serie A played Sunday afternoon at the Renato Dall'Ara stadium. It was literally a one-sided game, with the Rossoblù leading practically from the start and then able to sink the blow further when necessary, thus going on to take three important points in the race for the European cups.

Thiago Motta’s men had to wait just under five minutes for the lead: Orsolini, from a corner kick, found Zirkzee near the second post, the Dutchman volleyed and found Falcone’s response, but the ball landed at the feet of Beukema who could only rest it in the net.

Lecce has the opportunity to equalize on 22's (Krstovic mistake in front of Skorupski) but è Bologna to score again, five minutes later: è in fact, on 27' when Orsolini, from a defiladed position, guesses the right conclusion that passes under the legs of the opponent goalkeeper and is worth the 2-0 Bolognese.

It's Orsolini again, four minutes after halftime, who finally closes the score: he does it with a spectacular left-footed conclusion, on Calafiori’s assist and Fabbian’s veil, that leaves Falcone no chance. There'è però still time for the poker, which arrives at'82': it is signed by Odgaard, who takes advantage of a mistake by Baschirotto to sprint toward the opponent’s goal and score.

So it ends with a clear 4-0 in favor of the Felsinei, who also on the previous day against Sassuolo had scored four times (taking forò two goals, in that case). With the three points Bologna relaunches its Champions ambitions by climbing to 39, while Lecce remains at 24 with a good but not entirely reassuring lead over the relegation zone.
