Last summer, the Bianconeri club considered him expendable, so much so that, several times, he è came close to packing his bags. Left (with many fans not happy), McKennie è regained, on the field, a significant role within Juventus which, now, has as a priority to renew his current contract, expiring in June 2025.

Actually, the parties would be quite close and the white smoke would be close. There is talk of an extension until 2027 with even an improvement in the current salary (2.5 million euros). Including bonuses, the pliant American midfielder should earn three million euros per season. A proposal that the player's entourage seems to have liked, so much so that the signing would not be far off.

Class of 1998, McKennie è landed at Juventus in the summer of 2020. After an excellent first season (six goals in 46 games in total), he began to lose his brilliance, so much so that in January 2023, è he was sent on loan to Leeds where he largely disappointed. Back at Juventus, he is having a super season. The only flaw: he has not yet found the way to goal. Allegri considers him a key element of his team.
