Real Sociedad armors Take Kubo
A couple of days before facing Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League round of 16, Real Sociedad announced the contract extension of Takefusa Kubo. The 22-year-old Japanese striker, who was tied to the San Sebastian club until 2027, will now è be bound until 2029.
Since his arrival at the Basque club in the summer of 2022, Kubo has played 71 official matches during which he scored 15 goals and provided 13 assists. The Japanese player è landed in Spain in 2019 thanks to Real Madrid and has also worn the colors of Mallorca, Villarreal and Getafe.
Copenhagen-Manchester City and RB Leipzig-Real Madrid the matches scheduled on Tuesday for the Champions League. In addition to Paris Saint Germain-Real Sociedad on Wednesday, the challenge at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico between Lazio and Bayern Munich will also be played.
