Only on Sky does great tennis play all year round and from today it becomes a total experience, more and more complete and personalized.
Following the’announcement of the’agreement that allows the broadcasting on Sky and streaming on NOW until 2028 of more than 80 tournaments per season between ATP and WTA, with more than 4,000 matches, today, February 12, is born “Sky Sport Plus”. Thanks to this novelty, customers will be able to watch the spectacle of the great men’s and women’s challenges in a richer, more engaging and simpler way. Just go to the Sky Sport Tennis channel, at 203, and with the remote control access to Sky Sport Plus, to go from one court to another, from one surface to another, from one champion to another, with a special focus on Italian tennis players, and not to miss a single decisive blow of the most exciting matches covered by the ATP and WTA cameras.
During tournaments, therefore, by pressing the green button on the remote control of Sky Q via satellite or the interactive buttonà of Sky Glass, if connected to the Internet, every fan will be able to access live images from the courts curated and produced by the ATP and WTA, to experience tennis as never before.
With the new Sky Sport Plus feature, for Sky subscribers:
will be available the courts of Sky-acquired tournaments followed by the international ATP and WTA production, with original commentary;
there will be the possibility to watch one or more matches live;
you will be able to follow the matches of the available Italian players;
you will be able to access the section Rankings to view the ATP and WTA singles rankings in real time.
Sky Sport Plus turns on today with tennis (WTA 1000 tournament in Doha, ATP 500 tournaments in Rotterdam, ATP 250 tournaments in Delray Beach and Buenos Aires). È also available for English Premier League and for Formula 1 from’the beginning of next season.
Starting from March, NOW customers will also have the same coverage of broadcast events available to follow ATP and WTA matches.
The Sky Sport Tennis channel, which has been sporting a revamped graphic design for a few days now, will remain the point of reference for fans, the “center court” where the most interesting matches of the moment will be broadcast.
