Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff è returned to talk about the future transfer of Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari. "We knew that our collaboration with Lewis would end one day – he admitted to official channels of the German team -, we were thinking maybe at the end of 2025, so the moment è was a surprise, but I respect the decision he made".

"Nothing has changed for us this year, our goal remains the same,” he later stressed. We have two excellent drivers. With George we have a fast, talented and intelligent driver behind the wheel, and he has a solid foundation for the future. With Lewis we have a motivated multiple world champion, and we want his last year with us to be the most successful one. They both know what they have to do, and thisè really positive for us".
