Victor Osimhen, trouble with plane: return to Naples postponed
A comeback that is getting more and more complicated, becoming a small case.
Victor Osimhen è is expected back in Naples, after the long interlude of the African Cup of Nations. His return to Italy is, however, proving more difficult than expected, due to problems in the air routes from his Lagos, Nigeria, to Capodichino. A delay absolutely independent of the willà of the Azzurri center forward, which forò could cost him his return to the field against Genoa in the match scheduled for next Saturday.
According to what has been reconstructed and reported by 'Il Mattino', Osimhen was expected to arrive in Naples around 8 a.m. Thursday after departing from Lagos and stopping over in another European capital. That però didnè t happen, and the reason è that connections were missed. But this is not the end of it: in fact, it cannot be ruled out that the "right" flight will take the Nigerian striker no longer to Naples, but to Rome. With the difficulty of then having to reach the Campania capital by train or car.
Clearly, after all these travails Osimhen è was allowed not to go immediately to Castelvolturno, so that he could rest on his return to Italy. As a result è però that even his meeting with Walter Mazzarri è destined to be postponed, with his presence on the field against Genoa at this point increasingly improbable.
