Lisa Vittozzi again to medal: she is silver in the rainbow mass start

The biathlon World Championships being held in Nove Mesto na Morave, Czech Republic, continue to bring satisfaction to Lisa Vittozzi, who won a silver medal in the women's mass start on Sunday, thus bringing her total to four medals (three individual, one relay) in this year's rainbow event.
The Carabinieri athlete è came in behind France's Justine Braisaz, who completed the race in 34'37"2 with no shooting errors. Only one mistake instead for Vittozzi, who finished 31"2 behind the winner. Rounding out the podium was another transalpine athlete Lou Jeanmonnot, who finished her race 56"7 behind her compatriot.
Further back, however, was the other Italian athlete in the race, Dorothea Wierer, who è finished 20th at the finish line with three overall errors and a 2'44"0 gap from Braisaz. The South Tyrolean, in terms of world medals, è was joined today by Lisa Vittozzi herself, who won 12 overall including five individual ones.
Today's was therefore Lisa Vittozzi's third silver medal at the World Championships in Nove Mesto na Morave: the Italian biathlete è finished second not only in the mass start, but also in the individual pursuit and the mixed relay, while she won the prestigious gold medal in the individual event held on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
