NBA, Doc Rivers introduces Danilo Gallinari: “Leadership and experience”
The Light Blue, class of 1988, seeks last assault on NBA ring
Last call for the Rooster. At 35, Danilo Gallinari is attempting, perhaps for the last time, the assault on that NBA title he has dreamed of since his arrival, back in 2008, in the American top league. He chose the Milwaukee Bucks to try to win the NBA ring and thus become the second Italian to do so after Marco Belinelli's feat with the San Antonio Spurs. With Giannis Antetokoumpo and Damian Lillard as teammates, the mission seems possible.
New NBA franchise for the Rooster
After playing in the jerseys of the New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma Thunder, Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics (no appearances due to injury), Washington Wizards and, for a few days, Detroit Pistons, the Rooster is playing his last chances to win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Doc Rivers meets Gallinari
Doc Rivers, coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, knows Danilo Gallinari very well, having coached him in Los Angeles, Clippers side, for two seasons (2017 to 2019). With him as a coach, the Rooster had important seasons and hopes to find the same feeling again in Milwaukee.
"Someone like him canò give us a lot"
"Outside shooting and inches: these are things that matter, in the playoffs. Soì as does the leadership of a veteran, of someone who knows how to play basketball. Great passer. Someone like him canò certainly give us a hand", the clear words of Doc Rivers himself talking about Danilo Gallinari, an extra resource for his Bucks.
The Bucks seek second ring in four years
Milwaukee è in the hunt for the second NBA title in four years. Now it will also have Danilo Gallinari on the roster to try to complete a difficult but not impossible mission. Talent, experience, leadership, Milwaukee has all the right cards to go all the way.
