Tennis Italy is back to rejoicing, this time in the women’s side, as Jasmine Paolini became the third Italian player, after Flavia Pennetta and Camila Giorgi to triumph in a Masters 1000. The Tuscan tennis player, after her victory in Dubai, did not hide her excitement for the achievement.
"I am really surprised, I don't know what to say, but the only thing I know è that I am overjoyed. I believed in every match, I remember when in the first match I was down a set and a break, I thought I would lose that match and instead I managed to win the tournament" began the blue tennis player.
"It's been a great week, there are so many Italians, but so many supported me, so I want to thank everyone who supported me. I also want to say thank you to my coach, physiotherapist, all my staff and my family" continued the 1996 class player.
"I don’t know what I will doò this evening, maybe I will eatò a pizza (laughs ed.). Now è it’s really late and I don’t care about all that;, what matters è to have this trophy in my hands" she closed Jasmine Paolini.
