Bayern Munich beats Leipzig 2-1 at home and moves back to within -8 of Bayer Leverkusen first in the Bundesliga standings. The German champions, coming off three knockouts in a row between the league and Champions League, reared their heads again at home but struggled to get the better of Leipzig, bent 2-1 at the Allianz Arena thanks to a goal scored in the recovery.
Tuchel’s team clung to Harry Kane: the former Tottenham striker scored on 56'and then repeated in 91' after Sesko’s momentary equalizer for Leipzig. For the English bomber è the 27th goal in the league, in 23 games.
