The’intense snowfall on Friday forced the organizers of the women’s World Cup super-giant scheduled for Saturday, February 24, on the La VolatA slope in Passo San Pellegrino to cancel the scheduled race.

Track officials are working hard to clean up the entire track and ensure the necessary safety conditions so that the second super-giant, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 25, can be secured.

The race will not be recovered, at this point a total of nine events remain to be held: the Sunday super-giant in Val di Fassa, downhill and super-giant in Kvitfjell (Nor) on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3, giant slalom and slalom in Are (Sve) on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10, giant slalom and slalom of the finals in Saalbach (Aut) on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17, and super-giant and downhill of the finals in Saalbach (Aut) on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23.
