Manuel Feller also won the eighth slalom of the season, in Palisades Tahoe, thanks to a splendid second run, which allowed him to climb from third to first place, stretching in the specialty standings to 590 points. Feller finished with a time of 1’42″08, 28 hundredths better than Clement Noel, and 38 ahead of Linus Strasser, who finished second in the specialty standings, but 204 points behind, when there are three races left in the season.
Very good from midà down; Alex Vinatzer, who è managed to move up a good 10 positions from the first fraction and get the best result of the season with the sixth place at 85 cents from the winner, taking off the fourth heat time. Good performance for Stefano Gross, who managed to recover 7 positions in the second run and finish in 19th place at 1″92 from the first.
Tommaso Sala, on the other hand, fails to be effective in the second run and loses 16 positions, up to 23rd final place at 2″24 from the top, after having obtained the seventh place midà race. Corrado Barbera and Giuliano Razzoli, who were 4″59 and 4″98 behind, were out of the thirty. Out in the first was Filippo Della Vite, in the second Tobias Kastlunger. The first Italian in the ranking remains Sala in 18th place with 121 points, but Vinatzer rises to 22nd with 100 points and they are, at the moment the only two qualified for the slalom Finals in Saalbach.
