Felipe Massa has his say on Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari
Former Brazilian Ferrari driver Felipe Massa has had his say on the market coup of the century, namely Lewis Hamilton’s move to the Maranello marque, in an interview with Corriere dello Sport, taken up by formulapassion.it.
Massa at the outset had called this coup “important on a commercial and marketing level, but it must be exploited to strengthen the team”.
Now he has partially corrected the shot, moreover praising the driver from whom he wants to snatch the 2008 world title by table, mainly because of the very famous Singapore Crashgate, with which, moreover, Hamilton had nothing to do.
Here are Massa’s words: “Great move, Hamilton è a fantastic driver, almost all F1 records are his. Leclerc if he wants to become a champion should not be afraid of anyone, Senna struggled with Prost until he pushed him elsewhere”.
“Having a declining Sainz does not benefit Ferrari itself, which needs points for the Constructors’ Championship. Carlos will respect the team because he has a reputation to uphold and no team wants a driver who gives trouble”.
