Congratulations and congratulations from all over the tennis world for Jannik Sinner after his resounding victory in the final of the Atp tournament in Miami against Grigor Dimitrov. After a long run that began in the last months of 2023, the South Tyrolean tennis player è managed to overtake Carlos Alcaraz and è now almost on top of the world: now the target è Novak Djokovic, number one on the planet.
His rival and friend Alcaraz, who was just overtaken in the ATP rankings, gave credit on social media to the Blue with a series of emoticons that celebrated the San Candido champion's feat: the icon of a round of applause, the "top" symbol and the flame, further demonstrating the respect there's between the two athletes despite the tight competition (Alcaraz è was the only one to inflict a defeat on Sinner in these first 3 months of 2024).
Alcaraz has long explained that Sinner’s strength pushes him to improve and grow. Lots of applause from other colleagues as well, including Fabio Fognini: "Bravo Carotino".
