In India wins Nakajima

Matteo Manassero put in another remarkable performance on the DP World Tour, placing fifth at the Hero Indian Open in New Delhi. With a total score of 276 strokes (65, 68, 70, 73) and finishing at -12 under par, following his recent victory in the Jonsson Workwear Open in South Africa, the Venetian confirmed his return to high levels of play.

Manassero started out strong, leading after the first round and remaining in prominent positions throughout the competition. However, a final round of 73 strokes (+1) prevented him from securing a position immediately behind Nakajima, who dominated the tournament held on the DLF G&CC course, a par 72 course designed by Gary Player.

The Japanese golfer totaled 271 strokes (69, 65, 68, 73), finishing at -17 under par, and cashed for 354,956.18 euros. Among other Italian golfers, Francesco Laporta è ranked 26th with a score of 283 (-5), followed by Lorenzo Scalise in 31st place with 284 (-4), while Edoardo Molinari finished 58th with 291 (+3).
