Inter on Beukema and Bijol

Calciomercato Inter: after finalizing the zero-parameter signings of Zielinski and Taremi, the Nerazzurri are working to reinforce the defensive department, accomplice to Acerbi's advancing age and the numerous physical problems had by De Vrij. According to a report from "Il Corriere dello Sport", the Milanese club has reportedly set its sights on two defenders playing in Serie A.

The first name would be that of Sam Beukema, a 25-year-old defender author of an excellent season with Thiago Motta&#39s Bologna. Marotta and Ausilio would have already started preliminary contacts with the player's entourage to verify the feasibility of the negotiation. However, the main obstacle for Inter will be the high valuation of the player, as the Rossoblù club would be willing to negotiate his transfer only in front of offers around 20-25 million euros.

The second profile followed by the Nerazzurri, on the other hand, è Jaka Bijol of Udinese, who, unlike the Bologna Dutchman, would already have experience playing in a three-man defense. On the Slovenian central, however, the main unknown would be related to his adaptation to a higher level of play.

In conclusion, albeit in a defiladed manner, Inter would also be closely following Alessandro Buongiorno of Torino, on whom there has been competition from AC Milan for some time. A hypothetical operation to bring the blue defender to the Nerazzurri, however, would be very difficult because of the high demand from the Granata club (35-40 million euros).
