Lesmo still perfect, promotion to C series

Lesmus in the C series

Big celebration for the Lesmo girls, who clinched promotion to the C series with four days in advance. At the first match point, against Montorfano Rovato at home, è came a roaring 9-1 goleada, with the result already on file at halftime (4-0).

This year the girls coached by Andrea Ruggeri have been practically perfect: suffice it to say that so far they have collected 26 victories in 26 matches. In the coming rounds they will try to extend the record-breaking streak to end a season without defeat.

The head then will goà also to the Italian Cup, where a victory in the competition would open the doors of the national finals, and to the next championship where as a newly promoted team Lesmo will dream big again.
