Napoli, 4-2 show in Monza: Osimhen dragging

Napoli returned for a time the overwhelming one of last season and came back and beat Monza 4-2 in the 3 p.m. match played at U-Power Stadium and valid for the 31st day of Serie A. Calzona’s team, down 1-0 at halftime, transformed in the second half and dragged by Osimhen overturned the result, hitting the three points after three games without a win.

Thanks to this success, the Azzurri climb to seventh place on 48 points and return to put the Europa zone in their sights. Second ko in a row for Monza, stuck in 11th place.

The balance of the first half is broken by a defensive inattention of the Azzurri: Djuric, forgotten by Juan Jesus, scores the lead goal by header on an assist from the left by Zerbin. Calzona s team has a great chance in the 40', when Di Gregorio complicates his life on a back pass but manages to make up for it on Osimhen and then on Kvaratskelia.

Pyrotechnic second half, with an endless seesaw of excitement and goals. Osimhen dà the wake-up call for Napoli by finding the 1-1 with an imperious header off a cross from Anguissa at 56', and just two minutes later the guests took the lead with a magic left-footed shot from Politano, ball in the seventh.

Two more minutes pass, and at 61' Zielinski from the limit again pierces Di Gregorio, bringing the Parthenopeans’ goals to three, but Monza at 63' shortens the gap with Colpani.

It è not over: the Azzurri poker at 69', signed by Raspadori in tap-in after a short rebound by Gregorio on Di Lorenzo’s shot, closes the incredible sequence of goals and secures the victory for Napoli.
