Monte Carlo: immediately out Luca Nardi and Matteo Arnaldi

Nothing to do for the two Italian tennis players Luca Nardi and Matteo Arnaldi, both eliminated in the first round of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000. The Pesaro-based tennis player, who came from the qualifiers, è was quickly folded in two sets by Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, while the San Remo native è was surprisingly beaten by India's Sumit Nagal.

Nardi, who paid for the exertions of the qualifiers, succumbed sharply 6-2, 6-3 on center court against world No. 35 Felix Auger-Aliassime, who disposed of the matter in one hour and 22 minutes.

More surprising was the knockout of Matteo Arnaldi, surprised by Nagal, who came from the qualifiers and was defeated by Lorenzo Sonego last week in Marrakech.

After winning the first set 7-5, Arnaldi (who was making his debut on clay unlike his opponent)  è conspicuously dropped both on serve and in response, and suffered the comeback of the Indian who won the next two sets 6-2, 6-4.
