Four days after announcing Rebecca Piva as the first player on the new roster, UYBA Volleyball Busto Arsizio fields its second athlete for the 2024/2025 season: Benedetta Sartori, a center midfielder born in 2001, will be yet another white-and-red butterfly.
The bustocca society, therefore, restarts from its valuable elements and the reappointment of Sartori was not at all obvious, considering the many significant proposals received. This renewal represents a gesture of great love and confidence on the part of the player in the UYBA project, which is convincing both at the corporate and sporting levels.
Benedetta Sartori è has been one of the revelations in the 2023/24 championship with rising performances both from a technical and character point of view, earning the call of the national team for the summer Azzurri commitments.
Benni's numbers are equally relevant: in the season just ended, the red-and-white powerhouse scored 223 points in 87 sets, with an offensive effectiveness of 50 percent, 16 aces and 54 decisive walls.
"A very important season for everyone has come to an end: I am proud of what we did as a team, but now it's time to raise the bar and aim higher,' said Sartori to the official channels of the red and white club.
