Jannik Sinner: defined the'opponent, è in great shape
Jannik Sinner’s first opponent in Monte Carlo will be US Sebastian Korda. Not an easy challenge for the world number 2, on his clay court debut, against the most talented U.S. tennis player, currently number 27 on the planet.
Korda bent clay-court player Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, already a finalist in Monte Carlo in 2022, in two quick sets 6-1, 6-2, highlighting that he is in great form and ready to sell his skin dearly against Azzurro, making his debut in the Principality.
Korda has already beaten Sinner in 2023 in the quarterfinals of the Adelaide tournament, 7-6, 6-1, while in the only other previous one it was the South Tyrolean who won 7-6, 7-6 in Washington in 2021.
