Lazio, pops up a'trade hypothesis for Ciro Immobile

Lazio has reportedly identified Giovanni Simeone as a potential replacement for Ciro Immobile, who will most likely leave the biancocelesti at the end of the season. The Argentine center forward would have been requested first and foremost by the capitolini coach Igor Tudor, who has already coached him during his experience on the Hellas Verona bench.

According to a report by "Il Mattino", in fact, the president of the Roman club Claudio Lotito would have opened to the'hypothesis of trying to engage with Napoli in a possible exchange of players that would also involve Ciro Immobile himself, who would take the opposite route to Giovanni Simeone.

The main obstacle, however, would be the high salary received by the Campania center forward (4 million euros net). Negotiations would still be in the embryonic stage, but should the Azzurri striker decide to reduce his salary, the operation could take a decisive acceleration in the coming weeks.

Regardless of this possible trade, Napoli will be called upon to replace Victor Osimhen, who will leave the partenopei at the end of the season. Candidates for the replacement include Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord and Jonathan David of Lille, with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis looking to the international market to reinforce the team.
