Alba De Silvestro and Michele Boscacci ended the Ski Mountaineering World Cup season with a third place. In the mixed relay final in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the Italian duo finished 30"49 behind French Harrop/Anselmet, winners in 33’43"45, followed by Austrians Hiemer/Verbnjak at 8"05.

Splendid performance by the Azzurri, who carried the tricolor on the podium in all five mixed relays held, with triumphs in Boi Taull and Val Martello. With this result, Italy takes the Specialty Nations Cup, accumulating 443 points, surpassing France (428 points) and Spain (412 points).

The other two Italian pairs in the competition, with Katia Mascherona and Matteo Sostizzo, and Giulia Murada and Robert Antonioli, respectively, finished fourth and fifth in the B final.
