Carlos Sainz invites Jannik Sinner to an F1 Grand Prix

Ferrari’s Spaniard Carlos Sainz è was a spectator at the Monte Carlo Masters 1000, where he had “excellent” meetings with some of the world’s tennis bigwigs.

In a video posted by the tournament in the Principality, the Madrid-based driver exchanges some banter with Novak Djokovic, the number 1 racket player. "I have a bad backhand and my volleying game è a disaster”, said Sainz. And Djokovic responded with amusement: “È in the Spanish blood to rely heavily on the forehand".

But Sainz also crossed paths with the world number 2 and sportsman of the moment in Italy, Jannik Sinner. After watching yesterday’s match dominated by the South Tyrolean against Sebastian Korda, è it was the Sky Sport website that reported an exchange of banter between the two.

Sainz told Sinner, who è is a Formula 1 fan, that he is a fan of his, and invited him to attend a Grand Prix. There would be the one in Monaco, which però è would coincide with Roland Garros. “If it goes bad I’ll come”, Sinner said, but if that were to happen it would mean he would lose in one of the first rounds of the tournament, and then Sainz replied, “Let’s hope not”.
