PSG beaten by Barcelona, French press identifies culprit

Clumsy exits, indecisions, in general a poor sense of security that ended up affecting Paris SG’s performance in every department. The French press hits hard on Gigio Donnarumma&#39s night after the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals, with the Parisians beaten 2-3 at the Parc des Princes by Barcelona.

One of the worst on the field, è the local media charge, would have been the Italian national team goalkeeper himself. His mistakes actually contributed to triggering the blaugrana’s three goals: first a low, empty exit and an erroneous sending-off for Rafinha’s double.

Then a blatant indecision on the goal by Christensen, who had just entered, on a loose ball from the corner. "Catastrophic", "a magnetà" are some of the judgments reserved for Donnarumma’s performance by French newspapers, heavy even in grades: 3 from Equipe (which headlined "L'incorrigible Donnarumma"), 3.5 from Le Parisien.

When it was still 0-0, the Azzurri goalkeeper, usually safe between the posts, had sent worrying signals to his own with a clumsy exit at the 20', forcing Nuno Mendes to perform a half miracle to clear on the line after the goalkeeper's mistake, again on a corner kick.
