Paolo Maldini’s response to Paolo Scaroni was not long in coming, and to the Corriere della Sera he took a few pebbles off his shoe, recalling his triumphs as a player and more: "If I look at my past, I can’t stop smiling".
Scaroni had pricked him thus: "I haven't heard from him again. I think that when someone looks at his past with a certain rate of acrimony, it means that he is not living the present very well. I hope this is not the case with Maldini, to whom I wish every satisfaction".
In December, the former Rossoneri captain and manager had already addressed the current Rossoneri number one this way: "Milan deserves a president who will only do the interests of Milan.
