Nico Hulkenberg leaves Haas, but remains in F1

Official: Nico Hulkenberg will become a new Sauber-Audi driver starting in 2025

The driver market in F1 is moving. Through a note issued on its social channels, in fact, the Haas team announced the farewell of Nico Hulkenberg at the end of the season. The German driver, starting with the 2025 season, will judge for the Sauber team, which will become Audi from 2026.

“I want to thank Nico for his contribution to the team during the time he è been here with us, è a true team man and è a pleasure to work with. His experience and guidance has proved invaluable to us in terms of improving our overall performance, as è clearly evident in his qualifying and race performances with the VF-24 this season. There are still many races to come this year, so we look forward to continuing to benefit from his contributions for the rest of the 2024&rdquo season; this was the message of thanks from Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu.
