After a start of the season a little below expectations, Marco Bezzecchi has regained his smile at the end of qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix, MotoGp class, at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit. In fact, the Rimini rider finished second in qualifying and therefore started in the middle of the front row in both the Sprint race and Sunday’s Gp.

"I am really happy – said the 25-year-old rider to the official channels of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team -, I really enjoyed myself on the track, despite the rain. I rode well, already yesterday in practice, but also today in the wet and this front row was needed!"

"The team has done so much – added the bearer of the team founded by Valentino Rossi -, they have always supported me. We worked a lot on the data and I am really satisfied with these feelings. Today will not beà easy, will have toò start well and manage the first laps as best as possible. I will giveò the maximum to take advantage of this position at the start".

Bezzecchi, who was third in the standings at the end of the 2023 season, did not start 2024 on the right foot: his best race result è sixth place in Portugal, while at the Sprint level he suffered even more, not going beyond 11th position again in Algarve and, earlier, in Qatar.
