Moto3, David Alonso falls in Jerez, Collin Veijer wins

Husqvarna’s 19-year-old Collin Veijer won the Spanish Moto3 class Grand Prix at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit. È the second success for the Dutch boy after quelo in Malaysia last season.

Veijer beat in a sprint KTM BOE Motorsports Spaniard David Munoz, 18 years old next May 15. Third a short distance away was another Spaniard, Ivan Ortolá, also on a KTM but from the MT Helmets  – MSI team.

Sensational twist on the second lap: the highly favored poleman, the Colombian of CFMoto David Alonso, winner of two out of three races this year and who turned 18 three days ago, è ended up on the ground, but è managed to restart and è ranked incredibly in eleventh position.

Seventh the leader of the world championship, the Spaniard of KTM GasGas Daniel Holgado, who started in the rear but thanks to the fall of Alonso managed to increase his lead over the Colombian in the standings to 6 points, while Veijer è third at 28 lengths behind.
