Roma: attack target likely to fade away
Roma: the target for the attack is likely to fade
There was some optimism about Rafa’s transfer to Roma but Stuttgart’s inclusion in the negotiations has upset the cards. The footballer, who will be free in June on a zero-parameter basis, has already held preliminary talks with some of Roma’s intermediaries.
Things seemed to be going smoothly but in the last few hours the Stuttgart management has decided to make an attempt to sign Rafa and it seems that the German club is very determined. The Portuguese plays mainly as a second striker but canò vary on the entire offensive front.
With Benfica, the club that signed him in 2016 for 16 million euros, he has won a lot and has now decided to try a new experience. Some Arab clubs have knocked on his door but the player has politely declined: he wants to continue in Europe.
