Juventus pounces on PSG redundancy
Juventus swoops in on PSG's redundancy
Juventus has set its sights on Manuel Ugarte, a PSG midfielder set to leave at the end of the season. The Uruguayan had left Sporting in the summer to move under the Eiffel Tower, where he però found very little space under Luis Enrique’s orders. The player has thus mandated his agents to look around, and on his tracks would be the Juventus club, which had already followed him in the past.
Sporting director Giuntoli and the Bianconeri market men are looking for reinforcements in the midfield, and Ugarte could be the right opportunity: the è hypothesis is that of a loan to allow the player to show off and relaunch himself at European level.
Giuntoli has good relations with Luis Campos, with whom he dealt Victor Osimhen when one was at Napoli and the other at Lille, and could soon formulate an official request.
Ugarte will have to però make sacrifices on salary. He has played 23 Ligue 1 matches this season, starting 19 times.
