Varese basketball: it’s done for the reinforcement in the backcourt
Jordan Harris è a new player of Varese Basketball
Basketball closes an important incoming blow in the guard department. In fact, the white-and-red company announced that it has signed a contract with athlete Jordan Harris. The U.S. basketball player è a ductile player, gifted with shooting from distance but also with explosivity, which he uses effectively to attack the basket. Defensively, he knows how to assert himself thanks to good physical skills and excellent readings of the game, as evidenced by the two average stolen balls per game he scored last year in Belgium in the Brussels jersey.
Born Oct. 9, 1997, Harris trained at the University of Georgia where he significantly improved his numbers year after year. In 2021-2022 he flies to Europe, to Britain, where he signs a contract with the Glasgow Rocks, a lineup with which he puts up 17.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists and, most importantly, more than 2 steals per shoelace.
The following year he moved to Poland and then, in February, to Belgium where he wore the Mechelen jersey. The’experience è more than positive, so much so that at the beginning of last season he was prompted to stay in Belgium where he plays for Brussels Basketball with excellent figures (12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals per game average).
"We are happy to have found an agreement with Jordan Harris who will be part of our team from today. Jordan è a versatile player who will bringà defense, rebounds and good passing and shooting skills. We believe he will bring a high level of competitiveness to the arena and wear the red and white jersey with pride. Welcome to Varese Basketball Jordan!" these, the warm statements of Varese Basketball GM Maksim Horowitz.
