Three wins and two losses: that was the tally for the Azzurri Tuesday at Wimbledon. Flavio Cobolli won on debut against Australia's Hijikata in a match that ended in the fourth set after nearly three hours of play.

Lorenzo Musetti and Luciano Darderi qualified and will compete in the second round: the Carrarese player overcame France&#39s Lestienne 3-1 with the scores of 6-4, 6-7, 2-6, 2-6, while the Italo-Argentinean bowed out in the fifth set to Britain&#39s Choinski after three and a half hours of play (7-5, 4-6, 2-6, 7-5, 6-2).

On the other hand, Luca Nardi, defeated in three sets by Argentina&#39s Etcheverry, and Mattia Bellucci, who came close to defeating Ben Shelton and was defeated only in the fifth set with the scores of 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, 3-6, 4-6 in a match that lasted three and a half hours and was suspended twice.
