Operated a few weeks ago on his meniscus, Novak Djokovic was convincing in his Wimbledon debut against Czech Kopriva, overwhelmed 6-1, 6-2, 6-2 in less than two hours. A sign that Nole is feeling better and better and is recovering condition: "I did not know how I would feel on the court and how my physique would respond to playing best of five sets".
"Fortunately è it went well and I didn’t expend too much energy. From the next matches the level will definitely rise. The feelings on the court are positive at the moment. I started with some caution and then I loosened up in the last two sets. I also managed to make a few slips without any problems".
Now Djokovic, winner of 7 Wimbledon tournaments, will face British Jacob Fearnley, world number 277 and wild card: "I don’t know him and I have never seen him play. I know he è British and so he might get some help from the audience. I am looking forward to getting back on the court to test my physique again".
