On Wimbledon’s No. 1 court, in a second-round match played with the grass court covered due to the danger of rain, Jasmine Paolini, world No. 7 and Roland Garros finalist, beat Belgian Greet Minnen, No. 80, with a score of 7-6 6-2 in one’hour and 32 minutes of play.

There are as many as six breaks in the first set, four in the first four games, only Paolini takes some lead going 5-3 but serving for the set suffers at zero the immediate counterbreak. It then goes to the tie-break which è a mirror of what happened in the set: the first to win a point on her own serve è Jasmine on 4-4!
